I am putting together a member's contact list. It would be a huge help if each of you could send me you contact information . I do have Jim, Donna and Steve D's information.

Fundraising/Home & School

I said that I would look into fundraising, but before I get to far into it I need to know about a 501(c)(3) number. A checking account is also going to be needed, and the checks should also require two signatures.


Here are the names of the Home and School Presidents for the High School Home & School it is Laurie Medendorp and Prospect is Bonnie Cleaver. I forget who it is at Norwood and I do not know Tinicum or Glenolden.

Cards/ Video Loop

Steve let me know if you are going to make it on the 25th. If you can't make it I will need to get the cards from you. If you are going to make it I am planning to be at the school by 615 or 630. Donna Stewart will also be joining us and Jim is going to make it after work if he can.

Jim, I tried the video loop thing on my computer. I must have a different version of Media then you do because I can't get mine to work. But I am computer challenged so it might just be me...lol

Table at the H&S on the 25th

Margie and I both heard from Natalie today. She says everything is good to host a table on the 25th.

I just got 5000 cards at my house. I haven't gotten in front of the people at St. Gabe's yet because I just got back in town this morning. Hopefully next week.

When I spoke to Sara last week she asked me if we had contacted Natalie Nicoteria to reserve our table. I wasn't sure if we had gotten the information to do that, so I a left Natalie a message yesterday just to make sure we have a table. I asked her to call me back to varify that we infact have a table. I have not heard from her. I won't be able to try to call her again until Monday or Tuesday. If anyone else wants to try please feel free. Just let me know so we don't keep bugging her about the same thing. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

Ok let me try this again.
I spoke with Sara Christianson tonight. She said she is not allowed to join our group. She said that there have been many groups such as ours who have approched the highschool asking to speak to the students and staff. CCMC crisis, and two others have spoken to them. Jim, you mentioned a group that Sara mentioned but for the life of me I can't remember the name at this minute.
Anyway, our best bet would be to put together a "presentation" to give to the superintendent. At that point we may be granted permission to speak with the staff, maybe the student body. However, she said that so many have approached them they are now leery of letting anyone else come to speak other then those they have already allowed.
My thought was that this will take some time to get permission. In the mean time we could talk to the churches and youth groups. maybe the Churches would give us 5 or 10 minutes to present the programs at their Sunday services. So that would give adults in the community an idea of what we are trying to do. then we could meet with the youth groups.
The target kid audience we want, per Sara, probably won't sit through a presentation about the group. So we need to find another way in....
That's what I have so far. I have a call out to Kim Paulina the social worker in the district for info on their contacts (the one you mentioned Jim is who they MUST use) although we got that answer tonight. I also have a call out on getting info on the Interboro channel. Haven't' heard anything back from them yet...
